GTA Cars

As the content editor for GTA Cars, I worked closely with their day-to-day output, shaping how their presence translated onto social media. My role involved not only assembling footage but also structuring how personality, information, and visual energy coexist within a short-form frame.

The result is a series of social media content that draws from street culture, hip-hop and electronic music, particularly their sense of rhythm and presence. I was interested in translating that energy into automotive content that feels immediate but composed. Working within a vertical format required precision. The aim was to build momentum deliberately, allowing the work to feel dynamic without becoming excessive.

Content Direction

The project spans several types of content. Feature-focused videos emphasize the look and feel of each car. Through tighter cuts and controlled movement, these short pieces highlight detail, texture, and presence.

This video in particular has snappy animations that help to highlight the features of the car.

Editing

The pacing is intentional. Each reel is structured to capture attention early and sustain it through a seamless flow. Quick cuts and measured speed ramps create rhythm, while careful sequencing ensures the flow remains cohesive. I carefully crafted the sound design for each video, synchronizing every cut with the beat and adding sound effects to enhance the viewing experience.

Motion Design

Kinetic animation is restrained but rhythmic. Logo reveals, transitions, overlays, and subtle glitch accents are used sparingly. Each animated element supports the overall tone rather than drawing attention to itself.
