As the content editor for GTA Cars, I worked closely with their day-to-day output, shaping how their presence translated onto social media. My role involved not only assembling footage but also structuring how personality, information, and visual energy coexist within a short-form frame.
The result is a series of social media content that draws from street culture, hip-hop and electronic music, particularly their sense of rhythm and presence. I was interested in translating that energy into automotive content that feels immediate but composed. Working within a vertical format required precision. The aim was to build momentum deliberately, allowing the work to feel dynamic without becoming excessive.

Content Direction
The project spans several types of content. Feature-focused videos emphasize the look and feel of each car. Through tighter cuts and controlled movement, these short pieces highlight detail, texture, and presence.

There are talking head videos featuring members of the sales team, where personality becomes central. These pieces highlight their humor and ease, making the brand feel more approachable. Alongside these are promotional reels structured around information: practical tips, key features, and selling points. In these, clarity becomes the priority. The edit supports the message, and typography organizes content within a compressed timeframe.

This video in particular has snappy animations that help to highlight the features of the car.

Challenge-based and Q&A videos lean further into playfulness and relatability, revealing the team beyond scripted promotion. Across formats, the objective remains consistent: balance personality with precision, energy with clarity.

Editing
The pacing is intentional. Each reel is structured to capture attention early and sustain it through a seamless flow. Quick cuts and measured speed ramps create rhythm, while careful sequencing ensures the flow remains cohesive. I carefully crafted the sound design for each video, synchronizing every cut with the beat and adding sound effects to enhance the viewing experience.

Typography
I worked primarily with bold, expanded sans-serif typefaces, forms that feel assertive and grounded, exemplifying the visual language of street signage, positioned at the intersection of urban graphics and the luxury automotive industry. The letterforms are imposing and weighty, allowing them to hold space confidently within the vertical frame.
Electric yellow colors the title sequences and echo the energy of the visuals. Text enters with sharp directional movement often synchronized to dialogue or the beat of the music. Rather than overwhelming the frame, typography organizes it, guiding the viewer through information while reinforcing the flow of the video.

Motion Design
Kinetic animation is restrained but rhythmic. Logo reveals, transitions, overlays, and subtle glitch accents are used sparingly. Each animated element supports the overall tone rather than drawing attention to itself.

Event Coverage
In addition to sales-driven content, I was also tasked with editing video coverage of extracurricular events joined by GTA Cars staff. The approach here was less structured and more observational. Edits emphasized candid interactions, shared moments, and collective presence. The tone softened, allowing the brand to be seen not only as a sales entity but as a community.
